About Phil

Corrado Fileppo, Phil, Born in Biella in 1967.
His project master AG FRONZONI described him a disobedient designer and visionary.
He likes to define himself brand philosopher and stars rover.
He loves good wine, especially the Italian one, good design, not only Italian and good people,from around the world.
Always been a vinyl junkie, a books devourer and an Helvetica religion's fundamentalist.

Phil interrupted his studies in philosophy in 1991, then he attended the course of inscape and total design at Ag Fronzoni's bottega.
Outside the traditional schemes, he experiences in Milan, in the early nineties, a crossover between art, poetry and the historical graphics avant-guarde.
(These are the years of otras Fronteras, which in 2016 will celebrate the 25th anniversary).

This is an artistic journey that will take a way quite introspective and still completely private, which influenced the design unconventional approach.

Since May 1994 to October 2002 he worked at Loro Piana.
At the M & C office, he becomes head of communications of the custom divison and later of the newborn Sport fabric division, mainly managing the relationship with the graphic design studio.

In October 2002 he founded framecommunicationprojects, a small studio specializing in corporate identity with particular focus on tailor-made market.
Among customers stand out Valentino, Gianfranco Ferré, Isaia, Leomaster Capritex, Chargeurs interling and pielleitalia.

In April 2007, the 4 he started working with the framehaus studio where he is working as art director and design strategist.
This is a fruitful collaboration, lasting almost nine years, that includes clients among which stand out brand of excellence in the Italian menswear range as Caruso Menswear, Fratelli Tallia di delfino, Isaia Napoli, Luigi Botto, Piacenza 1733, and international companies such as China's Jimei plastic, leader in the eyewear acetate production, and English Left shoes.

In 2010 he creates the webhaus studio, a parallel division dedicated to the line solutions, that he runs until September 2015.

Parallel to these activities there are numerous collaborations and side projects in the name of the limited editions made in Italy.
In February 2008 he became the Stjx brand art director, for which he designed all the corporate bible and also the art-umbrellas first collection and some bags and accessories that are still present in the corporate gift collection of prestigious brands like Mc Laren and Solar Impulse.
From July 2009 to June 2013 he is co-founder and brand philosopher of the project ArsalitArtes, for which has created the naming, logo and corporate identity design and production philosophy.

In February 2010, after a dept material's textile processes' research, creates FUGA 192, the first brand in the world entirely dedicated to the ecomobility wear exclusively made with natural fibers and exclusively made in Italy. Sold the brand to fibrevolution, he was the art director until July 2012.
Phil design the corporate bible, the e-commerce and all the roadwear collections.

In 2012 he founded dashaus, an independent space dedicated to the co-working for an alternative network of art, design and communication.

In 2013 Isaia, neapolitan tailoring brand, call him to design and manage the first bags and accessories capsule. He will runs this directions for three seasons until September 2014. Accessories and bags are still sold in the best worldwide mall Barneys NY

In 2014 with a group of friends and eyewear lovers, he creates a side project, Oddnetwork, devoted to limited editions and bespoke spectacles.
